HOW BIG IS YOUR STAFF?

Couture has two full-time partners and a roster of four second-shooters and assistants.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Our staff deploys a wide range of professional grade camera, audio, and lighting equipment in order to capture the best quality content. Yes this includes drones, cranes, stabilizers and all the fun stuff.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS?

The founding partners have a combined 17 years of industry-experience. Couture Films was founded in 2015.

WHERE DO YOU WORK?

We are primarily based in Southern Ontario but we do regularly take commissions worldwide. Everywhere from the Rocky Mountains of Alberta to the secluded jungles of Indonesia!

WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?

We try and keep this as simple as possible. Ideally we would meet and discuss your options and address any concerns or questions you may have. Once you are ready to go forward, a deposit is taken to secure your date. Our contract can be filled out online as well if you happen to be out of town.

HOW MUCH IS YOUR DEPOSIT?

All of our bookings require a non-refundable 15% deposit to secure the date. The balance will be due in full by the wedding date.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR VIDEO?

This depends almost entirely on your wedding date. Generally, the earlier in the season your wedding is, the sooner we can get to it. Expect 1-3 months if your wedding is in March-May and 2-4 months from June-October. We never rush our way through the edit process as we believe a good quality product is worth waiting for.

CAN WE PICK OUR MUSIC?

We do entertain suggestions, however ultimately our team of editors will know what works best with your footage. We can certainly discuss creative vision prior to the wedding, but ultimately you are hiring us because you trust our creative process, right?

WILL YOU SHOW UP WEARING JEANS?

Absolutely not.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

Please inquire about pricing as this changes annually.

WILL YOU USE A DRONE?

We will only use a drone if we feel it will add production value to your film. We will NOT fly a drone in unsafe weather conditions or over people's heads. We will NOT fly a drone indoors anywhere. There is no additional charge for drone footage.

DO YOU HAVE A CRANE?

Yes we do. We have a small 7 foot crane which we use at no additional charge as well as a larger 15 foot crane which can be purchased as an add-on. Note* we can only use the larger crane if it is safe to do so and if there is at least 20 feet of vertical clearance above the dance floor.
